LocalSeen vs Peec AI
A well-built brand AI search tool versus a local one. The honest difference is not quality, it is whether your customer has to drive to you.
Peec AI is one of the better products in this category and the reviews are deserved. Clean interface, daily tracking, citation-level detail, and one genuinely generous policy: countries and languages cost nothing extra, because they price on prompts rather than regions. If you track a brand across several markets, that is a real advantage and we do not match it.
The structure to understand before you buy is the engine pool. Starter is $80 a month, billed annually, and lets you choose three models from ChatGPT, AI Mode, AI Overviews, Copilot, Perplexity and Gemini. A fourth is a $30 add-on. Claude is not in that pool at all: it sits in Enterprise, behind a sales call, delivered over API.
LocalSeen is $49 a month with four engines fixed and Claude included, and it is pointed at a different question. Not "how visible is our brand in AI search" but "when someone nearby asks for the best gym, does the answer name this one".

Prompts versus buyer questions
Peec sells prompts: 50 on Starter, 150 on Pro, 350 on Advanced, allocated however you like across projects. That is the right unit for a brand team that wants to watch a specific list of phrases.
A local business does not have a list of phrases. It has a category and a neighborhood, and the questions worth tracking are the ones its buyers actually ask: best gym near me, cheapest dentist in Austin, who is open on Sunday. We generate those from the business itself, run them in every language you track, and score how often you are named against the competitors Google Maps returns for the same query.
Neither unit is better in the abstract. One assumes you already know what to watch. The other assumes you do not, which is usually true when the business is a single clinic rather than a marketing department.
Which one fits you?
Pick Peec AI if
- You track a brand rather than an address.
- You need Perplexity or Copilot in the mix.
- You operate across several countries and want them priced flat.
- You already know which prompts matter and want to watch exactly those.
Pick LocalSeen if
- Your customers search with "near me" and then drive to you.
- You want Claude covered without an enterprise contract.
- You want the Maps geo-grid, the profile audit and the AI score together.
- You want the buyer questions generated for you, not written by you.
